Nintendo is finally launching their awaited Switch online service that they’ve been teasing for over a year.
The paid service will allow for online play (for compatible titles like Splatoon™ 2, ARMS™, Mario Kart™ 8 Deluxe, Mario Tennis™ Aces, and Sushi Striker™: The Way of Sushido.), select retro NES titles with added online functionality, cloud saves, a Switch app, and some special offers and promos.
The pricing is much more affordable than the Microsoft, or Sony versions, $19.99 per year for individuals, or $34.99 per year for families (up to 8 accounts). Memberships will be available starting soon through Nintendo.com and select retailers.
