The Jim Henson Company Throws A Raunchy Puppet Party In A Secret Speakeasy
The Jim Henson company has launched a one of a kind pop-up experience in collaboration with Giant Spoon and Mycotoo to promote their latest R-rated puppet adventure, The Happytime Murders. VIPs and press outlets received a special invitation to The Inkhole tattoo shop where they were greeted by real needles and ink (or an airbrush if they were feeling shy) before finding themselves thrust into a speakeasy littered with candy wrappers, vulgar puppets, porn, booze, and silly string. At least, we think it was silly string…
Step into the world of THE HAPPYTIME MURDERS and get an exclusive sneak peek into the NSFK (not safe for kids) world of puppet pleasures at the The InkHole, a one-of-a-kind pop-up tattoo parlor. Word on the street is The InkHole isn’t just your average ink spot, but start gabbin’ with the right people or puppets and you might find where all the real fun goes down. Rumor has it that in this secret speakeasy you can try your luck at Blackjack, grab a drink at the bar, and enjoy the risqué entertainment on the main stage. But you didn’t hear that from me. It’s a party stuffed with fluff, so come fill your drink hole at The InkHole.
The event runs through Monday, August 13th. Tickets are available through Eventbrite.
The Happytime Murders explodes into theaters August 24th, 2018.
